Description

Cute small hot springs on the Kern River. Smaller than Miracle Hot Springs further back the road. Outhouse and garbage bin at parking lot. 4 pools on river; 2 x 6-8 ppl and 2 x 1-3 ppl. No camping at hot springs but camping allowed on pull outs in road. Quiet before noon on Sunday (6ppl) but got busy quick after noon. Clothing optional. Pack out what you take in please.

as of 5/1/2023 the hot springs are under cold river water because the river is swollen above its usual level. I'm sure the river will go down soon but if you're in the area now, save yourself the drive! I hope some one will update this when the springs are available again.

All 4 pools are open and warm, some more tepid than the others. Beautiful setting and not overly crowded. Cool down in the eddy of the river!

The hot springs are still under water. Not sure if they’ve been under water for a whole year or if this is seasonal.

Still only one small upper spring available. if there is a car in the parking lot already, either expect a wait or turn around. showed up at 7am on a Tuesday and the people in already weren't in a rush to get out so we left.

as of this moment, the river is so swollen with rain water that the hot springs are submerged under cold river water and you can't get in. there's one very small luke warm hot spring on the way down that you can soak in, but nothing like the usual experience. I'm sure this won't last long, and the water will return to its normal level and the hot springs till be excited again, but for anyone currently in the area wanting to go for a good hot soak, I thought I'd save you a drive because they're not available now.
and shhhh we parked here for several nights and no one bothered us except for some campers blasting loud music at midnight.

Very nice hot springs. Came here after realizing miracle hot springs was closed. Multiple tubs with one bathtub-shaped tub being the hottest.

Nice pool, and we can all thank the locals and especially Janet for making it, and keeping it. Really great vibe. No place to put a big rig, and the vaners were saying the no overnight was occasionally enforced. Ranger police recommended a spot about 1/4" away in a pull out. It says day use, but fingers crossed...
