Several clearings to camp in this Inyo NF area. Many along Onion Valley road, we decided to turn onto Foothill Road which ends at a small creek. Found a spot a quarter of a mile down on the right, needed leveling blocks. Great views all around, very quiet and peaceful. Good cell coverage for all carriers, but disappears as you approach lower grays campground. No amenities

Report Check-InPresent two nights stay. Road is pretty solid, slight spin in some gravel sections, but nothing serious. Was in a 2wd ProMaster van. Two larger sits, one at end of the road towards the mountains and one down in a turn around towards town (see pics). Surprisingly 4 bars LTE Verizon, which I’m not used to boondocking. Super windy last night!
Report Check-Ingorgeous spot!! got here jn our 24ft rv no problem. the road leading up to this road is paved. then grated.
the spot is not too big but fit us perfectly.
pros: beautiful, quiet, nobody buggedus. amazing reception! full bars mint mobile and t mobile.
cons: this spot is a little uneven it took us a while to level out, we had to use rocks lol.
overall would def be back. we spent about 3 days here and loved it!!
PLEASE keep this spot clean guys. just put your stuff in a trash bag and let's leave beautiful places like this they way they're intended.
