Latest Check-Ins

there were a few spots on CR 96 and this one before the marked spot. Recent rains have made much further in treacherous to low clearance vehicles.

Report Check-In

Beautiful area with a number of dispersed campsites off a gravel road, suitable for small to medium sized rigs. A few of the closest sites are easily accessible to low-clearance vehicles. (Ours is a 2wd Promaster van with poor clearance due to things mounted on our underside.) However, further in probably requires high clearance. The area is used by ATVs, and we saw several speed by on a Friday evening in June, but it was quiet by nightfall. 2-3 bars Verizon LTE, which we were able to improve to 3-4 bars 5G with a cell booster. The area is a forest of low ponderosa pines, 10-30 feet tall, and we saw what appeared to be a jackrabbit in the morning.

Road here is well maintained and suitable for 2wd vehicles as long as you have a little bit of clearance. Made It here no problem in a 25’ shuttle bus. Had planned to stay 1 night but wound up staying multiple nights. We heard coyotes and elk at dusk. The views are great and Verizon signal was good. This is definitely one of the best places I’ve found so far. Please respect the land and keep it clean, we need to take care of spots like this. Enjoy!

This was our first ever dispersed camping experience and it was amazing! The coordinates will take you right to it! Easy to get in. Plenty of other sites along the road. We stayed 2 sites before the marked one. awe passed one person camping on the way in and that was it. A few hunters drove by in the morning and we heard some shooting in the distance later on but nobody bothered us and it was very peaceful. Great views as well!

Was planning to stay for tonight but they have prescribed fires all over the place. Didn’t stay for the night. Be aware of weather. Check beforehand.

Great spot and easy for vans too . This isn’t on 11 Mile Canyon Road it is right off of Bolette road which is right near 11 Mile canyon road but you will find it easy if you just follow the map .

Quite and gorgeous ! The $20 campground was full on a Saturday but this dispersed area had plenty of camping woohoo ! I-Overlander for the win again !!!!

Report Check-In

Nice place to camp. There’s a little bit of traffic noise from the county road, but this spur seems to be relatively untraveled. Sunsets and sunrises, being on a ridge, the views are beautiful. Not another camper while I was here, a few days. Verizon signal is good.

Stayed here 2 nights, lots of spots to choose from. Dogs had plenty of room too run and only saw 1 neighbor. 2 bars w/ Verizon. Great spot!

Report Check-In

stayed at this great spot just before this marked area. only saw a few other people drive by on the 2 nights we were here.

Report Check-In

Dirt road but accessible to 2WD. Lots of spots along to road, spread out.

Report Check-In

Stayed for 2 nights on a weekend. Nice area and views. Quiet when I was there. Only saw one other RV. A few day-users on ATV’s but only during the day. I stayed at the one marked but, as others have mentioned, there’s several spots. Easy access with my 2WD promaster. Decent Verizon and T-mobile (no issues streaming).

Report Check-In

it is a pretty easy site to access with a few miles of dirt roads. there would be multiple places you could pull off to camp but none had fire rings, so we didnt stay. we stopped and ate lunch and let the dogs run around and it was a nice and pretty walk.
