iOverlander cannot verify if wild camping is permitted at this location. It is your responsibility to verify local laws or obtain consent before staying the night.
Land is marked BLM according to maps provided by Arizona. Access from route 89A, opposite the side of the road the cliffs are on. Initial pull-off lot is unmarked. Beyond the gate (usually closed so please close behind you) you’ll find a rock cobbled dirt road with offshoots leading to several campsites. I arrived at night and several sites were occupied. I estimate at least 8 sites total, well spread apart and down different branches of the road. Some sites have fire pits, but no wood to be scavenged. It had just rained all day, but most of the road is sturdy, although I did avoid a right turn early on that looked muddy. My heavy Transit 350 made it carefully over the rocky sections with no issues.
The view of the cliffs is unmatchable.

good sites, quiet. the right fork is a better option than the left. lots of sites. we stayed a couple sites in from the road with 34 ft 5th wheel. left fork has great views of Marble Canyon, even if you like or walk over.
Report Check-InGreat location. Two other vehicles here. continued along the track (to the right, next to the antenne) to the end. No-one here, the nearest vehicle a mile away. Fabulous, love it, although it's blowing a big one!!
Report Check-InAs you come in, the road forks, we went left 'cause right is wrong. Seriously though, later on i saw 2 class C's on the right fork. We took the first spot and then went on a bike ride. This fork goes all the way to the rim of the Marble Canyon. great views and many camping sites along the way. the entrance is almost exactly at mile marker 545. Close the gate!
Report Check-InWe are far closer to the gate than these coordinates. A mile, I think. All else is as reported. Unparalleled views and close to Soap Canyon.
Report Check-InSeveral camp sites in the Vermillion Cliffs area off an unmarked road. BLM land starts after the gate (unlocked, please close behind you) and there are probably about half a dozen pull outs. I saw a 30-40 foot motor home at the end of the road, so apparently it’s passable for rigs that large. No problem for me in my RWD Sprinter.
Great views of the cliffs and nice dark night skies!
