We filled with diesel here, $5.31 advertised price, turned out the diesel from the trucks side ( heavy diesel) was $5.39, it was the (light) diesel at the non truck side which was $5.31.? 80 gallons but still cheaper than prices in Utah ( so far).
After filling with fuel we headed off, in the dark, to find a camping spot off a fire service road. Turns out that due to fire risk, forest staff have close all service roads to campers. Returned to service area where we had a nice meal in Mary’s Diner. Staff gave up permission to stay overnight in their parking lot at the rear which had other trucks and RV’s parked up.
Staff at filling station also said we could stay overnight, parking lot is one area part paved and part unsaved, despite being separately owned. Typical truck stop. Trucks coming and going all night so have ear plugs but good in an emergency.
Easily accessible by all types of RVs. We have a 37’ Class A with toad so pulled in behind other trucks without having to back int a spot.
Thanks Mary’s Diner.
