Border crossing BG - RO - BG
You have to pay a toll for using the bridge, but only for a car or bigger. Have a look at the pictures for prices.
For crossing Romania, they just asked for passport and vehicle documents. Same for other direction.
Waiting time depends on season.
You need to buy a vignette for Bulgaria and Romania.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.

It’s cheap, 7€ for a month for a passenger car.
Easy crossing in our camper from Bulgaria to Romania. €2 to cross the bridge (on the Bulgarian side). Bit of a queue with lorries on the bridge as only one lane in.

Bulgaria side: No passport control. Only pay 6 euros for the bridge toll.
Romania side, after the bridge: check passports and auto documents (we are on carnet de passage). 10 mins overall.

Report Check-InIt is a good idea to save a little Lei for the payment of bridge money. (15LEI) However, you can also pay in euros (3euro), but not dollars. If you want to buy a vignette at the petrol station before the bridge, you must also pay with LEI. They do not accept cards.
