Perfect bivouac but we woke up at 4am by a policeman who asked us to leave because the land belongs to the municipality. After discussion, he allowed us to finish the night but it is forbidden here. There is no overnight sign.

Probably don’t park here. Just got the knock this morning at 4am (first time ever). They said it’s like the only place you can’t park in Provo is public parks. So it’s a gamble I also saw and rv parked here a few nights ago so it’s a chance it thing.

Very snowy but parking lot is plowed. The volume of car traffic going to the little farmstead adjacent to the lot is impressive and consistent through the night. They use the lot as a turnaround so you’ll want to be deep. The pic with the yellow arrow sign is where their driveway and the lot entrance meet.

Nice spot to stop for the night with a river trail. We felt very safe with no issues. Will definitely use this spot again next time we need to.

Pulled in late on way to SLC from Vegas. 2 vans here. Perfect spot. Paved Trails, stream, river , near lake. Quiet and surrounded by farmland and Wasatch range views. Self contained, park respectfully, be quiet, leave no trace, control dogs so locals walking theirs in morning don’t get mad and demand no parking signs. Ideal!

Has been turned into a bit of a construction site with the new motorway being built. Also the huge amount of mosquitoes when the sun goes down will drive you nuts!!!

Quite and lots of room on the river. There’s a paved trail that offers plenty of room to exercise. It was cool listening to all the cow mooing in the nearby fields.

As others mentioned, a nice quiet place to spend the night. There were other vans there as well and some cute little pigs to greet us in the morning.

Nice spot to stay the night. Busy area, lots of people fishing but the parking lot cleared out around 10pm. Nice place to walk the dogs or get a run in on the paved trail. 4 other vans camped here overnight, felt safe.

Never did see the giant dirt pile or bathrooms. Looks like construction is going on for a bridge and there was some dirt over there. We came in off Center Street.

Stayed here 3 nights in a row. Beautiful and great spot, bathroom is nearby on the other side of the massive dirt pile. Did have occasionally have a annoying car with loud music roll in, but it all stopped after 10 or 11pm. Can get very windy if the wind is blowing in the right direction.

Nice quiet place. Had no issues staying here overnight. Some airport and train noise but not bad at all. Good service and close to town! We slept in and woke up to a couple cars at the trail

Great spot! Yes, there is a giant pile of dirt that prohibits you from coming in on Boat Harbor but if you take Center St all the way to Utah park you can loop around and access Aligator park that way. Really nice overnight spot

Report Check-In

there is a large pile of rubble wood and dirt approximately 10 to 15 ft high and 50 yards in which right in the middle of the road which prevents passage through to the parking lot area. this is sort of a bummer however just point one miles the east and on the way to the aforementioned alligator park parking lot pile of rubble, there is a trailhead parking with restrooms open all year and picnic benches. I stayed the night there if my dog Griswold as she caught fish all night and I slept.
