Latest Check-Ins

We arrived late at night and noticed a small no overnight parking sign on the right-hand side of the enormous parking lot designated for buses and trailers. Since we were driving a class B vehicle, I decided to park anyway near the welcome center with two other cars with people inside sleeping. We had a peaceful night there without encountering any problems.

You won’t have an issue staying here however there are signs. If you would rather not have the worry there are two unmarked parks just seconds from the information centre that have plenty of decent parking for small and large rigs. Just look on google maps, the place’s im talking about are in opposite directions but like I said they are seconds away and no signs posted saying “no overnight parking” I will add them to ioverlander now. Enjoy yourselves but also be sure to support local. A good spot thats not far and has room for big rigs is truman blueberry farms. Homemade ice cream as well as a bakery and cannery. Its a five star establishment with outdoor dining/picnic area.

Gorgeous grounds on this welcome center! And inside is pet friendly on leash!

I thought I was smart getting here at 9 AM right when they open on a Monday morning… Not!
After a minute of being there two buses of Chinese tourists showed up and there were easily 90 people inside of the small little welcome center and gift shop.

Report Check-In

Absolutely no overnight parking now. Large signs as you drive into the centre, we didn’t inquire as it was shut today. We carried on to Walmart, Amherst

Beautiful grounds and visitor centre, but huge sign saying NO OVERNIGHT Parking/Camping

Report Check-In

Il y a des pancartes partout de «  no overnight parking » et les toilettes ferment en même temps que le Visitor Center. Dommage car c’est un très beau site.

Multiple "no overnight camping" signs. I didn't risk it. Moved on to the Walmart in Moncton.

Interdiction d’y passer la nuit! Quelques affiches: No overnight/camping allowed

Report Check-In

We stayed here last year without a problem. came back this year, there is now a large sign saying no camping allowed. which is a real shame, I don't really see the reason for this unless it was being abused - which is a bigger shame.

Report Check-In

We had planned to stay the night, but there are now “no overnight camping” signs in the RV pull off areas, so we did not stay. The Visitor’s Center was closed, so we could not clarify.

Report Check-In

This was a great place to stay for two nights while we did some personal administration in Amherst. The bathrooms are very clean and are open 9 am - 4:30 pm. We are here early November

Report Check-In

Great spot, quiet at night. Bathrooms open 9am- 4:30 pm.
On our way out we noticed a “no overnight parking” sign but we stayed here two nights ( early November) with no issues.

Report Check-In

We didn't stay but drove up to check it out for another time. It's a large area, even with a nice view. Great photo ops with Welcome Sign and mini Lighthouse. There are signs for RV parking on the right side of the area. There seems to be a beautiful walk through the grounds, which include random picnic tables.

Report Check-In

Huge parking lot right on the border of NB/NS. A few picnic tables. Garbage cans. Wifi if you're close to the building. Bathrooms in the regular season I imagine but I stayed in the off season when the centre was closed. Some noise from the highway at night depending where you park.
