Something not right?

Description

Free camping in a national forest?! yep!

Nice dispersed sites along snake creek road. Creek was dry, but there are beautiful fall colors. Pit toilet, trash cans, picnic table, fire ring. down the road is an interesting historical mining site with a stone cabin. decent gravel road in, but not for anything larger than a truck camper.

Latest Check-Ins

Right now, the gate on this road is closed. But when it's open you will definitely need 4wd to get here. There is a section of this road that is in horrible shape. There are 2 spots bug enough for a van. Otherwise it's car and tent camping.

Report Check-In

2 spots along gravel road, inside Great Basin NP. Free sites with vault toilet, picnic table and metal fire ring. Right by the creek, but was dry May 2020. this is a 4th site along the dirt road, more further down the road
