Stopped here after crossing the border on a Sunday afternoon. it was open and well stocked, prices compare with most supermarkets in East and Central Africa. A very nice local asked if he could buy our shopping on his visa swipe for USD cash. He gave us 2000 zim dollar to 1 USD, better than the bank rate and it was very smooth and easy.
Report Check-InTM supermarket, affiliated with Pick n Pay. As at other supermarkets in Zim, there are guys outside that you can ask to pay for your groceries for you with their local card, in Zim dollars, and then you pay them in USD afterwards. This got us a much better rate than using our own card at the store, 650:1 on this particular day.
Reasonably well stocked, has beer, wine, ice, cheese in addition to the usual.
