Small isolated spot in woods | Wild Camping

Main spot by the cemetery is tucked away enough that it's pretty quiet. Room for 2 or so others closer to the road without blocking any of the trails/roads. Nice sunset over the water through the trees. Some trash, mostly tombstone decorations blowing away, so it does get visitors, although I didn't see anyone else. Had good service on all 3.

I tried to stay here but someone had beaten me to it. I chatted with him and he confirmed that it’s a legal spot—he was a National Forest employee who said he stayed here sometimes. The cemetery is still in use and so the road is maintained for access; there are ATV roads through the woods that could be hiking trails too. I had a few bars of VZN LTE. The spot looked large enough for my 144” Sprinter but probably not anything much bigger. A gem, if you’re not freaked out by the cemetery!

good for 1 rig across from cemetery and/or 2 rigs just after crossing the (seemingly inactive) RR tracks. can hear road noise from Rt 2.

Great quiet spot next to a small cemetery. Only 0.2 miles from the main road. There is a snowmobile trail for a small hike. We also saw people playing in the river there. We had a good Verizon service.

Secluded small spot for one small vehicle in woods across from an old cemetery. I suppose you could park in the cemetery unless someone closes the gate at night. We got a Verizon signal there.
