Good for a night's stay. Relatively level parking lot and highway noise is negligible.

There are a few swimming spots and a waterfall lookout just 5 minutes down the trail.

Latest Check-Ins

as described, large area mostly flat. spoke to a regular / local user who gave info on swimming spot. there's a shallow area a few hundred meters from parking area however if you hike a bit further to the base of the second waterfall theres sn amazing spot to swim. TCH traffic twinkled down to virtually nothing come sunset offering a very dark and quiet restful sleep.

Report Check-In

Very quiet and very nice nice.

Nice sound of flowing water, nice level ground and nice and nice quiet.

Large parking area. Lots of room. We took a short hike to the falls. Rough trail. Best part is a two minute walk from parking area there is a spot to go for a swim! Locals swim lots here. Yes some garbage but we cleaned a bunch up.
The turn is literally just before the bridge on the right heading to Deer Lake from Gander.

So there are two roads to on the right just before the bridge. Take the one that is literally 20 ft from the bridge. Once on the side road you can take a right on the first Y in the road to avoid the huge potholes. After that there is tons of room for several rigs of any size.

Report Check-In

Heading west on Rt 1 (TCH) take the right just before the bridge and you’ll find a huge grassy set of parking areas.

Next to the brook and at the beginning of trails. Yes, it’s full of skeeters at night and sure, you can hear the highway a bit, but it’s a huge flat brookside setting.

Big enough for a dozen big rigs.

Report Check-In

In the past it was a nice place and the falls are beautiful but lots of trash. It has seen heavy use.

Report Check-In

Schöner Platz für eine Übernachtung in der Nähe des Highway 1. Hier ist auch Platz für ganz große Mobile oder Gespanne.

Report Check-In

We stayed one night here in our van. There is no official signage about the hiking trail to the falls. The parking lot gravel is fairly rough with large potholes of standing water. The trail was very wet with large standing water ponds. The falls were beautiful. It was quiet and VERY windy overnight.
