Small track with open gate on north side of bridge, downstream side of river. Follow it down to beach. Lots of fire sites - probably popular with locals on weekends. Awesome swimming spot...if it was a couple of degrees warmer!
First 10 meters of the track are very bumpy - high clearance recommended. 4x2 ok.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Beautiful place to spend a couple of days. The entry looks a bit sketchy, but we managed to get in and out with our 6.6m 3.6t Fiat Ducato.
There is a real sand beach where you can sunbathe if it’s sunny and the water in the river is Cristal clear.
We were driving late night and tired so we stopped here. Ended up parking right next to the road. The path down to the beach looked too bumpy for our van so we didn't risk it. Flat spot. Some traffic at night. Some garbage all over the place but okay for a night.
Report Check-InCool spot. We had a bit of a hard time finding a flat spot to put out tent as we didn't want to be too close to the rio and the cold humidity but other than that amazing to have the opportunity to make a fire, sleep on comfy sand. There's quite a lot of garbage around but we've seen worse. Would recommend!
Report Check-InRough track heading down to the beach, but doable in 2x4. Lots of space for tents and vehicles.
It's a really nice spot, but there's toilet paper and rubbish all through the grassy area. Please take your rubbish with you.
Great spot. Stayed on Saturday night. Not many locals. Except a couple having very loud sex at 2am. Tent get soaked with the damp valley air on the sand in the night.
Report Check-InPerfect place for cyclists with tent. Along the river, but some spots to put your tent on the grassy area. Cold but quiet night.
Report Check-InWe just stopped to look at it. Very beautiful spot with a sandy beach and cold nice river. Steep entrance. It’s still morning time for us but would have stayed if later on the day!
Report Check-InGreat spot! Some locals here when we arrived but they left around 1900 and we had the place to ourselves. Nice, mostly flat campsite tucked in between trees gave us wind protection.
Report Check-InNice place, we were alone during the day but at night around 11pm some people came for a night swim but they didn’t stay long. We could do a fire and swam in the morning. We didn’t had a 4x4 and it was no problem with the road on the right.
Report Check-InReally nice beach, easy access with a 4x4.
Calm area, we were alone (winter and Covid...). We didn't manage to do a fire because of the wet wood.
However, we didn't have any wind so it was ok.
With 2WD do not drive down to the sand, but keep left. There is a level grassy patch at the end, near the fence. There was a party until late on Saturday night, but that is what ear plugs are for.
Report Check-InGreat spot! Some locals saw us picking up trash and gave us a gift! Be careful going down if you don’t have 4x4.
Report Check-InLovely space, lots of shady places for tents, and lots of other cyclists and locals camping for the night. Found other bicycle travelers and made some new friends. :)
Report Check-InNot the best place on a sunny Sunday, it was really crowded and we decided to move on to the camping 10 km South. Looks nice, though.
Report Check-InGood camp spot. I was there in the rain and there was shelter under a tree which provided enough shelter to cook on a fire. Loads of space!
A little rascal did chew through my tent to get to some food - but could happen anywhere if you forget to put things away properly!!!
We really enjoyed this camp. A beautiful spot. Lots of great places to pop up a tent.
Report Check-InIndeed nice location, but not so easy for 2wd... We had a problem in the evening and needed help to get out of the sand and this morning another car got stocked. So you need either 4x4 or at least big wheels and a light car. But there is a trick: when you drive down to the beach, in the first curve to the right, there is a grassy path going straight. Follow this one and you’ll end at the back of the beach on grassy area, no problem to drive here. You avoid the deep sand that you needed to cross if you continued the curvy road down to the beach.
Report Check-InVery nice spot to put your tent! Spent two nights here. On Sunday a lot of locals were here to BBQ, but on Monday we’ve been the only visitors.
Report Check-InMagic place to stay 1 night and more. Locals friendly, only 1family (tuesday). Ok for 2*4, we have a furgon (kangoo) and it's was ok. You can make a fire, you can swin, you can take a bath and you can also fish!
Report Check-InVery nice sandy beach, easy to go into the lake. Safe for children too. Around 30 cars/families on a warm sunday afternoon, so I didn't stay. On a weekday, I'd definetly spend the whole afternoon and night.
No phone or data reception forEntel.
Fire rings at the sandy beach. Only the beach is visible from the road/ bridge. Many places to pitch a tent or park a small motorhome, shaded/covered by trees. Access road might require some ground clearance, but accessible by regular 2x2 cars. Lovely spot to spend the day & night.
Report Check-Insuper spot pour dormir avec une petite plage de sable . remonté un peu difficile mais ca passe .
Report Check-InGreat stop, i would say only for 4x4 vehicles, the road down seemed pretty steep for our vw bus but we went walking and jumped in the water!
Report Check-Instayed on a Sunday evening. very popular among locals indeed. peaceful at night. loved the place, worth a longer stay
