Latest Check-Ins

A beautiful hotel with pool, showers and shrine. They do have parking space for several smaller sprinters etc. no hook ups or dump. We would not fit through the arched entrance which is ideally 290cm; max 3meters!
the very nice owner Eric called Felix who met us and we followed him to his empty flat lot above his parking lot biz we stayed 2 nights only ones there. I have added to the iOverlander app.

Report Check-In

Only ones here on a Thursday night, but got very busy on Friday. The owner was very nice. Parked the Sprinter van on the grass with a great view. No issues with gate height in or out. Only planned to stay one night, but just stayed two. Very clean toilets & showers. 180 MXN per person. Dog was allowed on leash.

We arrived here today. There was already another camper on the small meadow. there is space for a maximum of 3-4 smaller mobile homes. It is beautifully situated overlooking the Peňa de Bernal. The bathrooms are very well maintained. Price: 180 pesos/person/night.

April 12,2023: 180 pesos/ person/night. Child 8+ pay same price. Non negotiable. Too expensive for our family of 4. We just payed same price for grutas Tolantongo that is way more services/activities.

Very welcoming! Nice people at reception. We paid 180pesos per person for 2 = 360 pesos. Nice clean and hot shower and coffee in the morning. We recommend it. Look for Zacualli sign on the right and go up the hill.

Report Check-In

Very nice host, 300 P for our big rig and two persons. Clean flush toilets, showers with cold water. Gate limits acces to maximum!!! 3.3 m vehicle heigth. Very steep entrance. Going out requested to do it backwards as the end of our truck came up to high. Not recomended for more than 3.2 m car height. Host was very helpful to get out.

Amazing hospitality here! They have a small restaurant that serves local wines, and pizza! They also serve free coffee in the morning. About 10-15 min walk into the center. We’ve stayed here twice and would highly recommend it!

Report Check-In

Amazing hotel/campground. Charged us $380MXN. Plus they had free coffee in the morning and a small restaurant where they served pizza, carnitas, and some local wines from the region. Also about a 10 min walk to the main center. Stayed here 2 nights but would have stayed all week! So much to do and see!

Report Check-In

Beautifully maintained hotel with a few spots for camping. Hot showers, incredibly clean bathrooms, a “restaurant,” a small pool, and a large pot of cafe de olla in the morning.

Hotel name is ZACUALLI. Super place. Best WiFi so far, they have 2 networks, so you can choose the best depending on where you are. Spotless bathroom and hot showers. You can tap electricity from the bathroom block. Parking on the grass is permitted. Fantastic view on the monolith. We had no noise from town in the night. Friday evening and quiet.

Report Check-In

What a great location! So easy to walk right into the center of town, which is especially great when you’re just doing an overnight. We were parked on the wall side in front of the bathrooms. We just fit in our Jeep Gladiator, so this is not a good place for large vehicles. Bathrooms were kept clean; we didn’t use the shower. They asked for 360, but we negotiated down to 300 for two adults. Very cold wind at night, since you’re on a hill and exposed. Note that it’s noisy at night, so close to town. Still and peaceful in the morning as the sun wore away the fog.

Payed $250 pesos for the night in our van, I didn't mention it was two of us so that may have saved a small amount.
It looks like they don't want cars on the grass anymore, so you're basically paying for a safe parking lot with bathrooms and a shower (the gas wasn't working so it was cold when we were here)

Report Check-In

We decided to stay at this place but unfortunately we couldn't get in. Our RV is 3.55m high so we didn't fit under the Arch of the gate. It's only doable for cars around 3.20m and be carefull, the road up to the entrance is very steep and there is no space to turn around. We had to drive all the way down backwarts. The place itself looked nice.

Report Check-In

This place is absolutely amazing! We were running out of daylight and stopped in a nearby hotel and spa Called “Tortuga”. The owner was not nice at all and tried to charge us $1500 to park for the night! We turned around and went to this beautiful place. The lady was so nice to us. We camped in our van for $300 and had an amazing breakfast here in the morning. The property is very well kept and clean. Good showers. 5 stars all the way.

Report Check-In

The pool was full, but is was too cold to swim. They first wanted 200 Pesos per Person, but 150 was okay. I think it is the best place for visiting the Monolith. But your car should not be higher than 3,20m. Our car is 3,30 and we touched the arch oft the gate, when leaving.

Report Check-In

How described! Very nice view on Peña Bernal! Still 150 Pesos per Person! Pool empty!

Report Check-In

Rates for a double room have gone up to 770 pesos and camping was quoted at 200 pesos per person. We didn't stay. Just wanted to update!

Report Check-In

Repetimos el sitio ya que nos gusto mucho, la Sra Eli muy amable y encantadora.

Report Check-In

Really nice view of La Pena. The place is really quiet, and the bathrooms were clean.
For 2 people in a campervan, we were charged 300 pesos (150 pesos per person). Even if the pool was out of order, the price was non-negotiable.

Report Check-In

The current prices are: 150 pesos/person to tent camp in the grassy area near the bathrooms (with hot showers and flush toilets) and 850 pesos for a double room for 3 people. It was too expensive for us so we didn't stay but the garden and the patio are nice and have a nice view of Bernal Peak.

Un lugar con vistas a la peña, tiene regaderas de agua caliente y baños, ideal para caminar hasta la peña.

This is a great spot, paid 400pesos but this is for 2 adults and 3 children. Friendly staf, quiet as possible at new years eve . Kids can play safe in the garden. Great view from the monolith.Hot water, flush toilets, good wifi. Just 2 minutes from town.We loved it!
