Druadan Farm | Established Campground

A lovely farmhouse not too far South of Mkushi. The campsite was under the trees in their lawn, and their was a pool but it was green after the rains this time of year. We ended up staying longer than the one-night we had originally intended since I needed to do some work, and it was a good place to recuperate (wash clothes and be relatively bug-free for a few days). Alice and Hugo were very accomodating: they also sold us fresh produce (veggies, fruit, eggs and honey etc.) from their farm at a very good rate and let us use their wi-fi for the work I had to do. Also had some interesting conversations with them. Call Alice before arriving, since it isn't a regular campsite.

Great stop coming from Lusaka. Camped (50K pp) in the garden which was beautiful and peaceful.

Had fresh eggs and guavas picked straight from the tree. Alice and her husband are very friendly and welcoming.

We camped in Alice’s beautiful garden (50kw pppn). Alice and her husband are so nice and helpful and had interesting chats. We bought fresh fruit, veg and honey for reasonable prices as stated before. Very much recommended!

A wonderful place! Very welcoming! We could buy amazingly fresh fruit, vegetables, eggs, fish and honey for a very fair price! Highly recommend to stay here!!!

Beautiful farm. More information can be found on Airbnb. They have a couple of rooms and as an overlander you can camp anywhere on the grass. Alice sells her lovely organic vegetables. Pool is clean and nice and they have 4 cute dogs.
Road from Lusaka to here is quite long though…!

Beautiful place in rural area. The farm is run by Alice and Hugo who are very warm and welcoming to Overlanders. We could stay in the green garden under the trees. Nice pool and possibilities for drinks and dinner on request. Make sure to contact Alice before making the journey there. An amazing place to relax for a couple of days before heading out onto the Great North road again.

It's on a Farm they produce fresh organic vegetables and have eggs and Fish. It's a grassy camp place with shade. Very silent. They offer also one cottage with 3 bedrooms and bathrooms. They have a pool, cold drinks. You can walking, cycling around the farm. There is a canoe on a dam. They offer there products and also meals. Price is 50KW pppn camping.
