Road comes to a dead end with a nice clearing and fire pit. Awesome view, meadow with mountain back drop. Make sure to get Washington Discover Pass. Had Fish and Wildlife Officer stop down and I did not have one. He was cool about it though. He pointed out that Federal Lands are just up the road if I want to stay there. That road was closed so I simply purchased the discover pass.

Great camping spot for multiple vehicles. Beautiful view of the North Cascades during sunset. Had a few coyotes keep us company at night, but other than that it was quiet. In the morning there was a stiff westerly wind so we adjusted accordingly for breakfast. Discover pass required.
Report Check-InStayed a little further up the road since someone was in this spot but beautiful views.
Report Check-InDidn’t stay in this exact spot- but rather one just up the dirt road from it. Excellent views of the cascades or, if you prefer- go into the woods a little deeper, which is a little more private and surrounded by trees. I stayed here a few nights, it was so gorgeous and quite. Lots and lots of firewood around. And lots of spots to pick from. The road does start to get a little bumpy, muddy, and narrow in some spots. Most the time, I’d say any size car could make it up here (depending on when it last rained). If you’re in a larger 5th wheel or Class A/C- you might want to go to Bear Creek, which would most definitely accommodate a larger rig (just another half mile or so up there road). Excellent phone service up here. Getting full bars 5G on TMobile and full bars LTE on Verizon (my TMobile was much much faster. Took a while to send even a text message on Verizon, even though it’s LTE coverage).
