Description

Moderator Note: Please be sure that overnight parking is acceptable.
.....
We stayed for one night. Big parking lot at a park with no signs about overnight parking. Huge field for the dogs to run and right next to a river! In the morning, lots of locals using the park to exercise. Bathrooms are clean. AT&T and Verizon had service but really slow... t mobile had service at 8 download and 2 upload. We are in a camper van - anything over 22 feet would be an issue... it is a neighborhood park - so incognito is best !

Latest Check-Ins

This park does not allow overnight parking. We arrived around 9:30 PM, put our window covers up and went to sleep. No one else was parked in the lot. Around 12:30am we got the knock from someone patrolling the park and neighborhood, he said overnight parking was not allowed. We relocated to the nearest Walmart.

Great place for an overnight. Big parking lot by the river, clean and open all night restrooms. Be discreet as located in a beautiful and exclusive part of town. Park is used by joggers and dogs owners. Park open from sunrise to dusk although no gate to close at night. No sign of «  no overnight parking «  was found.

This is where I grew up. I lived right across from the park until a few years ago, and I do not believe that overnight parking is allowed as this is in the city of Knoxville and it is policed heavily. You might get away with it for one night, but I believe there are signs that say park closes at dark. It’s one of my favorite places in the world though. Great place to walk, run, ride bikes and walk the dog’s right along the Tennessee River. The road is a boulevard and has a gravel trail in the middle to walk as well. Leash laws are pretty enforced FYI. I recommend camping elsewhere for the night but definitely visiting for the day! I go back often and always make time for a run on the “Blvd”, as it’s known.
