Description
This is a first-come/ first-serve COE campground with 20 campsites. Campsites are spacious and large. There is only water at the sites. The campground has clean pit toilets. We were here on Labor day weekend and only about 10 of the sites were occupied.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.

great campsite, only water spigot available was working on this date. would recommend for a quiet night and nice views also picnic area has a roof, on hot days it can be very useful. pit toilets only.
Report Check-InStayed here last night and we were the only campers. The entry sign says the park officially opens in May and is open through September. The gates were open & there was no box to collect money. Water wasn’t turned on yet, and the pit toilets were very clean.
Sites 17 and 18 are right on the lake overlook and some of the other sites have shelters over the picnic tables. Each site has a picnic table, grill & fire ring. Didn’t notice any sites that offered shade from trees.
We had a really quiet night and enjoyed walking on the lake shore.
According to the core of engineers website, the US Park pass for seniors gives you a 50% discount for camp stays.
Report Check-InI stayed there last night. I was the only one in the campground. I paid the 10 dollar fee at the electric kiosk at the ranger station. Saw a few who were using the boat ramp. No Wi-Fi or RV dump that I saw. Just water at each site. Nice quiet place.

Report Check-InAs previously reported. Nice campground with large open spaces and water hookup. Pit toilets are clean. No Verizon. Good AT&T. $10 per night.
Note that I had my LED light on in my camper after dark and the door open with bug screen closed. A 1000 very little flies got inside my camper. Be warned. Certain times of year there are tons of little flies.
Report Check-InQuiet little campground with nice adobe style pavilions at each campsite. Was able to pay with credit card at a kiosk. Water was turned off though, unfortunately.
