Primitive camping on the water. Cell phone service was available. Water was rather shallow so the fishing wasn't great. Some very large pot holes in the forest service road. Some big lifted trucks bottomed out trying to drive back. If you are careful you should be able to avoid them. I would not attempt this area in the low sitting car.

One lane forest road in rough shape. I took a pull off not far down the road. I take my 24 ft RV down questionable roads a lot. This was NOT one I was willing to chance. The 1/2 mile I DID drive was filled with ruts and holes. Plus side, the first little pull off was level. Lots of coyote howling at sundown.
Report Check-InThis place is awesome! Hard road to get all the way down- my outback almost made it to the last campsite on the road but we had to stop short. Keep going if you can it’s worth it!
Report Check-InRough forestry road. Big ruts. Large puddles. We were able to drive our 12’ high expedition vehicle in here. Wouldn’t recommend for large TVs or 5th wheels though. Better in truck or jeep vehicles. Lovely sunset. Fire ring. Plenty of dry fallen firewood nearby.
