We stopped here for the night on our way back from Helmcken falls. You need to look for the dirt road where the map points you to the final destination, just about visible from the paved road. Go slow to make sure you can stop in time. Nice grassy spot off the road but you can tuck away so you are not easily seen. Road wasn’t busy or noisy. Very quiet and private. No cell network. Easy access. No need for 4x4 or high clearance. We’re in a small truck camper. Plenty of space for us to turn around, we’re 20ft long. Probably wouldn’t recommend for big rigs.
Report Check-InVery beautiful, serene spot! Plenty of shade from the trees but also relatively open. Small to medium-sized rigs will have little trouble here, though larger ones may brush up against a couple branches around the edges. The flowers here in the summertime are a sight to behold! A few mosquitoes popped up at night in our van, but were very manageable with a fly swatter and citronella candles.The road is about 20 metres away, but cars rarely pass and the trees muffle the sound. At night not one car passed by and we slept very soundly. Wonderful place to camp for a night and spend a slow morning at!
