United States
This is a normal truck stop with gas and lodging on location. I was directed here by local police after being informed that Sacagawea Park was no longer an option. It's not the most quiet place, but you're definitely allowed to stay the night.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Slept here the night before entering Yellowstone. We asked inside and they said we can stay wherever we want behind the building. Parked relatively close to the building in the range of light and cameras so we felt safe. Noise coming from coming and going trucks, engines running all night long and honking trains. It's normal for a place like that, just keep it in mind if silence is important to you.
Went in in the morning to grab one of the best and cheapest coffees I found in the US.
The store itself has no wifi, but close by Albertsons has. If you park close enough to it you might catch it over night.
I was directed to this location by a police officer who stopped, as I left the market with the car lights off. He was very friendly and said that they patrol all night and would look at my car. I slept like a log in the freezing cold!
Report Check-InAs expected, not the most quiet place, but acceptable. We did move a few rows away from a refrigerator truck whose compressor motor would cycle on and off every 20 minutes or so. A steady hum of a motor is much better than something cycling on and off. Mostly level, good cell signal.
Report Check-InAsked the employees if it was okay to park overnight. Allowed to stay 48hrs and must park in the back. I'm in a car/hatchback and parked in the back parking spaces, not on the gravel. If you have a larger vehicle probably best to park further away/closer to the trucks. Felt safe, lot was lit up and security cameras on the gas station. Lot of truck noise all thru the night but otherwise couldn't complain.
Report Check-InParking lot was full at Town Pump. We found a out of the way place, and was able to park in a single parking spot at Ace Hardware down the road, left out early before business opened. Quite place off the main road…
Report Check-InNot bad for overnight stay. Cars/trucks passing by all night. Some person decided to run a lawnmower at 3am
Report Check-InTown Pump gas station in Livingston
2200 W Park St, Livingston, MT 59047
Allowed overnight parking for our RV, large space in back for bigger rigs.
No water, propane, or dump.
Very busy & very mellow st the moment. Lots of big rigs, rv’s, vans, schoolies & trailers. Not horribly noisy w/engines & generators at this time, so if i’m lucky it will be s night for sleeping. As mentioned, no highway noise. It’s just far enough away that I cannot hear it. The thunder might have something to do with that though.:)
Report Check-InI didn’t feel very comfortably safe at the Yosemite Travel Stop here in Livingston so I came to Town Pump
It was pretty packed. I saw an RV in the Albertsons lot immediately adjacent so I moved there. Much more quiet and some privacy. I assumed it was ok since there was already the RV. Couple other SUVs and another RV joined us overnight
Report Check-InAs advertised. It's just a truck stop, but very well-lit. I had no train noise. Minimal truck noise. Close enough to the highway to be quite convenient, while for enough away for no road noise.
Felt safe.
