Description

The camping is very comfortable safe and clean. It has all necessary to rest some days. It is quiet. The beach is very close from here. The owner Patrick, we don't know him but He always was attentive for phone with us. He's very accessible and nice. You can bring your tent or rent one. During the day the employees are here, and then the night there is a guard, they were very kind. The beach is beautiful and you can learn surf.

We had a great stay here with our sprinter. Shady, clean, great kitchen for cooking. Stinkys surf break is a 2 min walk. Price felt high for one night (approx $47, weekly rate drops to $30/night). But we appreciated the hot shower and place to recharge. Warning not many good grocery options nearby but plenty of restaurants.

Report Check-In

Paid 845 pesos for 1 night, cheaper if you stay longer. Pros: Facility very clean and fenced all around, shadow, full services, set in a nice village. Cons: For small rigs only, you camp on gravel, rocky beach.

The place it is indeed very beautiful and clean and next to the beach but I would NOT RECOMMEND TO STAY HERE, WE GOT ROBBED, !! the safety is not good, someone stole things from ínside our rv , and our truck, not sure if it was someone from outside or the employees, but our cámara , tools and drone were gone once we decided to walk to the beach, so totally not wort to put your family into this sitution, in a place that has no safe guard During the nights or Camaras, just a gardener and a clean lady during the mornings only … the owner lives in canada , and after all we went throught he insisted that we need to pay de night
where someone abused our privacy on a “private property” . Definately very sad that we have to leave very quick because we didnt feel safe at all, and then the police came and they have a very strange relationship with the owner and they were also charging us 200$ usd if we want our things back …. Terrible !!!…. Also , this space is very small not for big rvs , just two spaces for small ones , and no dump station. Bucerias and cruz de huancaxtle are so much better óptions! Skip Punta de mita to stay over unless youre staying in a resort .

We dont normally pay for camping but we had to recharge our auxiliary batteries and this spot was perfect for that. A little expensive but the place is SUPER clean and the staff is very nice ! Hot showers, electricity and outdoor kitchen area

Also, the localisation is very good and the beach is only few steps away.

We had no issue communicating with the owner, he responsed super quickly through Whatsapp

Report Check-In

poor communication from owner. agreed to one price and doubled it when we arrived.

Beautiful spot for a little luxury. Will fit small/med rigs. They also have tents and trailers to rent. Everything is very clean. Great, well stocked kitchen and amazing hot showers. Super close to good surf spots and lots of eating options.

The current rate for a camp spot with no hook ups is 1000 pesos per night for less than 7 nights. After 7 nights 850. We didn’t stay, very $$$ imo

Report Check-In

Nice set up for glamping as they rent their trailers and tents. The trailers have stone patios. Unfortunately, we brought our 25’ travel van. We sleep in the parking area. The smoke from the communal fire pit wafts into our rig all evening

Great place, with clean grounds! This has been a camping oasis for us, after finding less than desirable sites to the north. We have met many nice travelers over the past two weeks, and the staff is kind and attentive. The surf is super accessible, as are the small shops for groceries. There is even a small market just up the street on Saturday. Patrick is attentive, and he’s only a text or phone call away. Lots of tents for camping (or BYOT), trailers, or bring your own van or RV — like we did.
A+ Camping Punta de Mita Adventures. We love it here!

Came for one night, ended up staying for two weeks. It’s like a 5 star campground, really well taken care of and lovely showers/toilets etc. The town is still very local and then the strip by the beach has restaurants that cater to the big resorts. The beach nearby is stony but la lancha is only 10 mins drive away and my favourite beach. It is expensive but totally worth it in our opinion.

We stayed here 4 nights as the facilities are excellent and generally a very comfortable and quiet place. Suitable for small/medium RVs or cars with roof top tent. Agree with everything said below - excellent kitchen, excellent hot showers and the owner very kindly allowed us to borrow some learner surf boards. The beach is not the most beautiful/unspoilt in the area, but had nice mini waves for our kids to learn to surf. There is also a good surf break (La Lancha) a short distance away. The town is also not the most attractive but it really grew on us - don’t miss the little pavement restaurant (Teresa’s Tacos or something like that?) which is about 50m east of the entrance gate. We ate there multiple times for great Mexican food, great service and really cheap (25 peso per taco, 50 pesos for a burrito).

We spent two nights there, we negotiated the price at 500 pesos / night because it was low season and we were travelling with a tent on a motorcycle. The spots to camp have electricity and are nice with sand. The wifi worked great, the kitchen is huge and very well equipped. Everything was very clean in the camping (kitchen, showers...) and the iguanas were really funny to watch. The staff was kind and Patrick responsive on the phone.

750 mxn per night
clean place, close to the beach

Report Check-In

Wanted to stay here with our own small tent, but it seemed really overpriced for us! It’s more kind of „glamping“. You can rent tents and RVs.
At first they wanted to charge us 750 pesos (>32€) per night, then they said the minimum is 600 pesos per night. Still too expensive for us, so we leaved.

We stayed here for two nights. It's a beautiful place with lovely coconut and banana trees and shade that makes it feel very lush. There are stationary tents and a few stationary campers and spaces for a few camper vans. The bathrooms are nice and clean and the wifi is excellent. There's an outdoor kitchen with all you need to cook and refrigerators too. The owner Patrick is very accommodating and friendly. The beach is right across the street and great restaurants are within a short walk. We enjoyed our stay.
