We were looking for the other spot marked around the area but we couldn't find it. we found this parking at the beginning of the trail and there is no 'no overnight parking' or 'no camping' sign.
We had dinner and sunset at the beach and then drove there around 9pm. We had an extremely quiet night, no traffic at all or any noise of any kind.
In the morning a few people parked to do the trail but nobody bothered us! nice
