This is a stunning view point to stay for a night if you don't make it up to the Mejicana or also on the way back. It is exposed, hence could get windy. Very quiet and a good level spot for one car. Ground a bit hard to pitch a tent but feasible.

As said below, a great spot to spend the night if you're looking for a place between the mountain refugio and Famatina. But keep in mind that it gets cold at night + there's no wind protection. Views on the cañon are beautiful. We didn't see/hear any other cars nor motorcycles between 10 PM and 9.30 AM.
