Description

This place is on Google Maps. There are two areas; one that requires the Discover pass and the one that does not. If you want to stay overnight, you have to stay in the area that is free, the fee area will be closed, they may close it late at night but it will be closed. I only stayed for one night. I will say that it is next to a bridge and you will hear the car noise all night long if you keep your windows open, but it is a free night stay in front of the beach. This place has one portable toilet (inside the gate).

Latest Check-Ins

Nobody is opening and closing the gate at this time of the year. Was here for two nights and the day between, worked on the van. Residents and even the park cleaning service greeted me, no discovery pass check. Beware of the tides, don’t but chairs or smth else behind the wood, otherwise it’s maybe floating away at night.

Report Check-In

The gate was already opened at 6:45 am. There are other cars and a van parked overnight further down outside the gate. Beautiful area by the water. Tons of trash here! Everything will easily end up in the water once we get some rain. It’s such a shame to be littered with junk here!

We combed through the area and picked up the litter to leave it much cleaner. Please People, please pick up after yourselves!

Mother Nature is NOT your trash bin to throw your garbage around all over the place with zero discipline! Leave only footprints, take only photos!

Stayed in front of the gates (nobody closed it at night) for one night without any issues. Gorgeous view, you hear the traffic on the bridge and some crazy loud animals at night.

I was going to stay here tonight. There was a mini van here as well. At 10pm 2 vehicles came in ( suv and charger ). The mini can started up and as they were leaving they (law enforcement of some kind) told him to stop but they just dove faster. The 2 cars chased after them. I decided to leave. I will not be staying there again.

Nice spot to spend the night, a bit of traffic until dusk but after that the bridge is quiet and all you hear are the roads in the marsh beside you. Pit toilet in the fee area.

place is ok, relatively quite at night, less cars, directly on the beach, saw dolphins, ducks and birds, cars over 24 feet not allowed

You can fit up to 40ft rigs but only one spot or at least 3 small campers.
