Latest Check-Ins

The drive in from the south was some of the worst washboard roads I’ve driven. I ended up stopping and letting half the air out of my tires. The turn off to the springs is impassable when wet without 4wd (and probably traction pads!) I cannot stress this enough. The springs itself was between 93-126 degrees where I tested. It’s shallow and has little tiny fishes that sometimes nibble on you when you are still. I did not camp at the springs but nearby. There are spots just before the turn off and also across the road from the turn off that are much nicer and less dusty with fire rings. There is a train that came by only once. Access to the playa is just across the train tracks. One truck drove past out onto the playa and down what looks like a playa road but no other traffic than that at the springs. Decent Verizon service here. There is a sign stating “no camping within 300 feet of the springs.” Also a sign that says it’s not advised to get in the water. I’ve been told the water is fine. If I had to venture a guess I’d say that sign is probably there to keep the thousands of burning man attendees out

Nice and easy to get to Hotspring. Pretty windy today, so the water was not as hot. Didn't stay overnight, just a little hike up Razorback Mtn and a quick dip. Nobody around and no train passed. Good cell service.

Great place for a soak and to spend the night. The bottom is soft clay and it’s one of the hottest springs we’ve visited In The wild. At night a group of people came to party and chill- it was fine just not a private place and only room for a couple vehicles at the springs itself.

Beautiful natural hot spring. Road a little rough but we made it in our 21 ft RV. There is a sign warning that the water is contaminated. The temperature was 100 f today, but always check before getting in! Hung out with some friends and it was great.
