Perfect place for refill water and picnic area 👍

A nice little park. The drinking water tap is in the center of the park, near the shelter where the picnic tables are. The ranger confirmed that the water is drinkable and many RVs come to fill up. The fence closes at 7:30 p.m.

Not sure why this place is marked as closed as we were able to get water. Asked the volunteer at this day use facility and he said no problem. He was quite friendly and helpful. This is part of the corps of engineers. We’ve found that their facilities are free of use throughout the country. Hope this gets updated as open. Nice place for water and a picnic.
