Description

A few minutes off of I 40 just outside of Kingman on spur signed BLM Route 7123A. Pretty convenient spot for a night (or 14). I’m on the way to Grand Canyon, so I’m happy staying here for a night. You can see the highway in the distance, but can’t really hear it. Pretty quiet out here and I only saw 1 other camper. Dirt road was a little rough getting in, but no 4x4 needed (unless it just rained). Full AT&T and Verizon service. The first spot, right off the road would definitely fit a big rig (there was an RV parked there when I got here) but the dirt road that leads to more sites is washed out and narrow, so I doubt a big rig would be able to make it.

Great spot. Need higher clearance to get to the upper spots. Good ATT service. Dusting of snow the night we were there.

little to no shelter from the wind but a nice area. easy to get to. good service with att. only 1 "rough " washout to cross pulling the trailer. quite, I didn't hear any road noise.

has about 6 spots, give or take. entrance has kinda big boulders but after that the rest of the road is pretty normal. first spot can maybe fit a big trailer / RV. there isn't really a good spot to turn around though if you have a big rig. got in just fine with my promaster. spaced decently, 3-4 bars 5G. sometimes it will go to LTE but bounces back real quick.

Nice and quiet!!!! This is your typical forest road in Arizona. We only went in to the first site on the right as you head down the road it was level and has a beautiful view of the mountains! Cell service is good 3bars LTE Verizon. Road conditions to the first site are good. We drive a promaster.

Report Check-In

Great views, decent cell reception on both Verizon and ATT. Wouldn’t want to bring a Class A in here or anything with low clearance, but if you don’t mind the rocks and the washouts, it’s a fantastic camp spot although completely full right now.

As others said, nice spot to sleep, totally quiet. The tracks are washed out a lot. We had an suv with lower cars it might be hard to get to the spot but we saw some cars closer to the street which might be better for other cars.

Fabulous spot!! The roads a bit rough, but I came through just fine. And I pull a small cargo trailer too. The 360° views are SPECTACULAR!! Less than 10 miles to town!

This place is extremely crowded. Kinda like parking in an RV park. I would recommend a different location if you prefer more space.

Loved this place! we pulled up late at night and couldn't see what we were pulling into....in the morning when we opened our doors we saw distant mountains! it was beautiful!

Decent boondocking spot off of DW Ranch Road. Quiet and easy access. Also connects to Little Hualapai Trail. 2 bars ATT.

What a gorgeous place. Beautiful view of the Sun rising. There were four other campers, but we all had our own privacy.
I felt so safe and slept like a top.
No sound from traffic and fabulous mobile phone signal on Verizon. There was even a stone fire pit. Highly recommend this place.

Nice spot with beautiful views! There is a road somewhat close by that you can hear traffic drive by every so often, but other than that this is a great spot! We saw 4 javelinas and 1 cow near this spot! Good Verizon reception and easy enough to get to with 2WD. We took the first spot on the left and needed parking blocks to get level.

Very nice quiet location. A few spots to set up camp for a few days. Only one other camper when I arrived. Close enough to civilization to refill and dump waste with ease and just off a paved, not so busy road. Great views of the mountains and the valley below. Extremely close to the 40 freeway. 4 bars of AT&T and 3 bars of TMobile service. Elevation 2589 ft. No amenities.

a little bumpy getting in, but a beautiful site. 6 or so camp spots, some with fire rings. Vista is gorgeous, with gas right down the road.

Report Check-In

As described. Nice little area. Ruts in the dirt as you navigate to the further spots might intimidate a stock height pro master van or similar.

Report Check-In

Nice little place with about 6 campsites. Sites are close enough to see some of your neighbors through the shrubs and trees, but far away enough to where you still have privacy.

Very nice views, mountains on one side and the desert on the other. You can hear the highway a little in the distance but it’s not bad at all.

Lots of sunlight for solar, and a few of the campsites have some trees around them for some shade as well.

Very close to town, and Love’s travel stop is right down the street for a shower and whatever else you need.

Got here on a Monday, stayed 2 nights with only 1 other RV staying here. Nice and quiet.

Very good Verizon and ATT service.

It's signed BLM Route 7123A. About a half-dozen spots suitable for campervans. I did see a couple smaller Class C but the space is pretty tight and the dirt road has pretty big rocks jutting out. Drive around them unless you hae a 4x4 or something.

Excellent Tmo and Verizon. Nice views and very little noise.

Cholla everywhere; you have been warned.

Okay spot off I-40, but people have abused it. Lots of trash. Don’t be an asshole and leave whole bags of trash behind.

Easy to find. One other truck parked here. Right on road to Halaupi mtn park. Can faintly hear highwAy and can see the lights of Kingman. Seems safer than the gravel pull over by highway!

Report Check-In

lunch here lots of places but need 4x4 to get there. went uo gravel rd found nice spot on the hill have to level. decided not to stay overnight

Report Check-In

nice little spot towards the hills. quiet, full att, convenient to i40, got in here ok with my old dodge van but it's definitely a rough road
