Something not right?

Description

Nice flat, spot for a 4x4 Camper or Van. Plenty of sun for solar. Main road (Shields Rd.) far enough away for privacy. Some noise from Hwy. 26. Spring Water available <1m away. Small hammer head for turning around. Spent a few days here. Verizon LTE 4G available. No Google Fi. 2 bars AT&T LTE.

Lots of opportunities in the forest here, sign says 14 days max. Pretty accurate descriptions for this spot, Google tried to take me to the road below the spot, but you have to go further up the hill into the forest to find the left/right fork. Left spot as described and pictured is better- more privacy (can still see a bit of road through the trees), better view. Road was fine in a RAV4. Many gunshots on the weekend, not too close though. Verizon signal usable, ATT barely with booster, no TMobile.

Basically no trash at the moment, but there was like 5 poor excuses for fire pits all over, so I grabbed some extra rocks and made a much better one off in the corner.

Great spot as others have already commented. Nice and clean and quiet.

There’s two spots in this immediate area. When you turn off the “main” road there’s a fork. One to the right which is a shorter drive to a dead end with a makeshift fire pit. The left side is a little longer down and steeper but ends the same way. Beautiful and peaceful.

Private spot but pretty trashed. The area is beautiful and quiet but the more I explored the more trash I found. Also the rest stop down the road doesn’t like if you try to throw trash away so if you clean up…I guess find a dump like I had to :(

nice spot, the lifted Toyota Prius on All Terrain Tires struggled a but for the first time ever. great spot with cell phone coverage!

Report Check-In

Quite place to pull off in the side of the road. It’s on a dirt road with a few pot holes on the way up, but if you drive carefully 2WD should be fine. Not the most private spot but no one else drove by all night. Had 2 bars and LTE with Verizon!
