This is a sweet little spot for the night. There were garbage cans and pit toilets. We didn’t use either as we brought out what we brought in. The grass was well maintained, as was the treed picnic area. There were silos and farm equipment surrounding it. On Google maps, it looks to be a clearing that is part of the parcel that has the house beside. If this is their property and they are allowing campers to park, thank you. That is very generous. Please everyone, be respectful. There was one other vehicle parked there for the night from New York. Welcome to Canada and sorry we had to use the generator as we have been having electrical issues.

Report Check-InSecret rest area! Quiet at night and regularly cleaned pit toilets. Definitely not abandoned. The gate was open and we stayed overnight without problems.
Report Check-InWent there and the fence was closed.
maybe it's because we are off season
The Foam Lake campground may be farther from the road. But, when it is closed for the season, this alternative becomes very attractive for a one night stop. And its free.
While this is apparently an old rest area, it is more isolated from the road with trees in between then most. Camping on grass or pavement from 50 to 200 meters from highway. Pit toilets are old but are clean-ish and very servicable when needed. Trash barrels by each picnic table.
No signage at all. Including along the highway. (Its a secret).
Report Check-InRoad stop with the appearance of aboundon. Trash cans and shabby picnic tables. Toilets available but not recommended. Be attentive, no signposts on the road. No poster prohibiting spending the night on the site. Ok for a night.
