Stayed last night in an active but quiet parking location, near the Gorge Trail info center. There are toilets and a freddy bike drop location here. restaurants and bars were a 10 minute walk, few mins via bike.
I checked with a ranger about overnight parking and they said the park was 24 hrs but they do shut the goat island side at dusk. We parked directly in line with the state park police offices. Verizon 5g full bars, AT&T full bars.

got a knock at 8pm and the officer said no overnight parking here 🥺
Report Check-InOfficer told me it closes at dusk 😩 so quiet too and calming when no one is here
Report Check-InParked here to see the falls, .5 mile walk from this lot. Well worth it. Didn’t stay more than a few hours.
Report Check-InGreat spot, but cop asked us (van) and an RV to move at 1:00 am and said we couldn’t sleep here.
FYI: right next to police station
Report Check-InDo not camp here. Police knocked on our Eurovan and said even though the park is a 24 hour park, there is no covering windows and no camping allowed. Recommended 4 Mile Creek State Campground, about 15-20 min drive away.
