A little turnoff of hwy 17 between Schreiber and Thunder Bay. Safe spot to park your car and lot's of space to set up your tent along the sandy beach area. An RV or two can fit on the side of the road.

Directly off the highway looks like an old boat ramp. Leads to the waterfront. Beautiful. There was TP litter on the ground — please clean up after yourself.
Report Check-InThe building across the road has really bright lights but if you pull in behind the little tree stand you can still get some decent darkness. Feels a bit weird to pull in & stay here but there are no signs saying you can’t and I had no issues/no one told me to leave!
Report Check-InA little turn off with room for a class B behind a clump of trees to give privacy from the highway. Just down the road from the paved picnic spot which has toilets and tables. We did not want to chance being kicked out there, so we came to this spot. Nice lake view.
Report Check-InI arrived before dusk, set up my tent, and was alone until after dark when an RV rolled up. It was fairly quiet, though some transport trucks passing on the road throughout the night. Lots of mosquitos, and unfortunately was a foggy night and following morning, but it was still magical. A much needed respite on the long road to Thunder Bay.
Report Check-InEmplacement très cool pour VanLife, vue superbe sur Lac Supérieur, toilettes, tables, calme.
Report Check-InAu bord de la route. Mais gratuit. On est resté avec notre tente de toit.
Report Check-InGorgeous site. Large enough for our 24-ft motorhome. There is also a camper van here. What a view! Site is clean. Beautiful rocky beach.
Report Check-InThis is 100m or so down the road from the paved “official” rest area, which had gates closed. There is a lot of room with ample turn around for medium sized rigs. Right on the highway but pretty quiet in the middle of the night, and what a view to wake up to!
Report Check-InGreat place. Quiet, met a friend who shared his fish fry with me! (I had no food at the time other than a chocolate bar!). Nice sound of the waves washing the shore. Excellent flat spot for tents. See photos. Orange Teton tent.
Report Check-InBy Rossport along the shore with clean pit toilet, picnic tables, ample parkings No signs for No overnight camping displayed
