Just 30 seconds down the spur at the trailhead of Garabaldi Lookout/Sunshine coast trail on Southview road there is a little pull-out loop with a few spaces to pull in. Old campfire from previous campers and a pit toilet meant for hikers. Creek nearby for water. Might get busy in the summer but pretty quiet on a Sunday in April. Be respectful and don’t leave a mess! Lots of bears/cougars in the area.

This is actually a rec site a couple of km up a gravel forest road, manageable but slow. Took one look at the site and turned around. It's basically just a muddy turn-around, at least it was when we went in April. With the other comments made about wildlife, I definitely wouldn't go here in a tent. Wouldn't recommend it for vehicles either unless in a pinch.
Report Check-InSmall forested area with a pit toilet, nice and quiet, we were the only ones there. Bit spooky if I'm honest. Heard several bears around and one came right up to the van so be careful about bear attractants!
