Just off the gravel road. Only 3 cars in 24 hours and because the wild camping site is in a indentation no one will know you are here.
No facilities. Lots of larger rocks to make a fire pit.
Nestled between two large hills. Sunset is just magical and the stars at night are breathtaking.
Ground is small rocks / rock gravel so no dust when the breeze blows. Small reeded area in front and lots of kindling to get a fire started.
Bring your own larger pieces of wood though. I would happily camp here for a number of days.

Wonderful. Easy to access with motorbike too, just be careful of sharp flint stones. Sunset from the top was beautiful. Cleared a small area by the fire pit to sleep under the stars. No cars passed from 7pm to 8am!
Report Check-InJust wanted to add it's still a great place. I think technically it's just inside the NP. But it's quiet and you're hidden quite well. Had such a great night here.
Report Check-InThis place is epic! Turn left of the road round the hill abit and you’ll find it, fire pit and easy sleeping for a day trip the next day to the canyon, beware all the accomodation at ai ais and fish river canyon is fuuuuckin expensive 😅 also if you hike up the hill towards the desert on the right as you head in, there’s an epic view at sunset
Report Check-InNice and quiet location next to the road, half hidden behind a rocky hill. Couple of cars passed by in the morning.
Report Check-InGreat spot, just off the road. Between some hills but still pretty windy at night.
