Two pull offs with a few camp sites each between mile marker 4 and 5. Right before 5 is a nice secluded spot. Right along the lake.

Nice spot, two narrow roads. Tight turnaround. Good service in ATT. road noise is noticeable but not busy in a Sunday night and mon morning.
Report Check-InNice little spot, and yeah there is some noise from cars driving by, but mostly during the day. I spent the night a bit north of the location where there is a short, but steep, trail going down to the lake. The water was great for a swim and the views quite nice.
The pull off comes sooner than the location shown on the map. I came from Joseph on the east side.
Report Check-InWe used the first pull in (from Joseph) which is drive through, we didn't because of low trees and rocky track. Second pull in is one way but we turned out 20' rig OK, likely a bit quieter but again low trees and rocky track. Cars during day but much quieter at night, probably quieter than the campground and a better lake view. We stayed 2 nights with no problems.
Report Check-InThe spot is nice…. However the traffic is fairly constant…. A car goes by every 30 seconds and I am here on a Monday. The road is right next to you so you hear it. Nice view and lake but be mindful of the traffic. If that doesn’t bother you this is a nice stop for a night.
Report Check-InINCREDIBLE spot!! The fire ring has been removed. Not sure if that’s because there is a fire ban or they don’t want people here anymore. Stayed a night without issue. Road has a lot of dips and narrow turnaround. Would not come down here in anything bigger than 24’.
3 bars Verizon LTE
Very close to the highway but noise wasn’t bad at all
