This site is flat with a nice stone fire pit in an aspen grove; clean and quiet. Stunning views nearby, but only the trees and sky when nestled in. I can imagine it would be 360 degrees of gold in the fall!

Such a sweet pull off for small rigs. It’s very quiet this time of year, and feels very safe / hidden. Beautiful views and peaceful. Complete cellular dead zone, but got great connection with our satellite dish. Loved this spot.
Report Check-InCouple of pulls offs from the main forest road. Very quiet at night, loads of mosquitos. Not suitable for longer vehicles because turning around may be difficult.
Report Check-InPlenty of space for tents away from the vehicle-compatible area.
Wetland just down the hill worth a tour of the frog song in the spring.
I’m back! And it’s true… all gold! The road was still no big deal for my Promaster.
Report Check-InRV friendly if you're daring or foolish. Medium clearance vehicles only. Ragged Ridge Road. Top of McClure pass. Arrived at dusk. Off camber shelfy road w exposure, no turn around, wound up parking on side of road w slope, had to disconnect to leave, no Verizon. Some road noise, but better than parking next to highway. CO133 was one of the prettiest drives I've ever been on
Report Check-InMcClure Campground was full on July 4th weekend 2021 but those sites were within sight and sound of camping neighbors anyway. This site is flat with a nice stone fire pit in an aspen grove; clean and quiet. Stunning views nearby, but only the trees and sky when nestled in.
