Something not right?

Description

We dropped down off of FR090 on to this rock edge. 4x4 may be needed on some of the lower spots especially if it is wet. Two to Four LTE was available. Fire rings and a few other
Flat spots, about 6 spaces to pick from.

As described, if you have a weak heart, or a weak emergency brake, I would pass on this one....pretty extreme.

Report Check-In

Arrived right after a rainstorm. A minivan was stuck in the mud on the road to the right when you pull in. We went to the left and it was dry. Nice spot but busy with fishermen/women, especially on a Sunday morning. We woke up to 8 vehicles parked close around our van. Other than that, it’s nice and quiet at night.

Amazingly beautiful, great score of a place.
Lots of eye candy and great camping spots.
Lots of local fishing but super friendly

Report Check-In

We arrived here around 6pm on a Friday. There were at least 6 spots available, in one of them there were spots in a white pick up that didn't seem happy we were there, but we stayed anyway. around 1am they ran past our spot screaming trying to scare us. That was pretty inconvenient. We stayed there the next day the whole day, the place is very beautiful and pleasant. We didn't see anyone camping, I just saw families going there to fish and leaving a few hours later. Therefore, we are not sure if it was even allowed to camp there, despite the fire pits, there was no sign. the way there is difficult for those inexperienced, it has very big holes, but even with a little difficulty, we went through it in our Toyota Highlander with a tent on the roof. 2/3 Verizon signal bars.

There was 1 level spot I could access without 4wd. It's 4th of July weekend, so really surprised it's just me and another camper here. Great view of the lake, and just a short walk down to the water. There are some really great spots farther down, but I don't want to risk getting stuck. There are a couple other easily accessible spots, but they aren't level. I have decent ATT service, which I didn't have at some of the other spots I checked out around Strawberry reservoir.

Report Check-In

Quiet easy to get to with at least 6 good spots to setup. Not perfectly flat. Boats and fishers didn’t start to show up until about 9AM on a Monday. Lots of trash laying around down by the shore line. Ring a bag and do some cleanup!
