Something not right?

Description

Free camping with around 10 spots right on the beautiful Suzanne lake.
Awesome spot to swim, canoe and fish.
It was very busy on the weekend that we were here but we returned during the middle of the week and it was deserted.
Drop toilets at the campsite and a small boat launch and jetty.
It would be a tight squeeze for some big rigs but most caravans and smaller motor homes will make it in no problem. The dirt road into the lake is in good condition

Latest Check-Ins

Great spot with easy lake access.
Though the Suzanne Lale road isn't signed at the Jaffray/Baynes Lake Rd. The turnoff is clear and here 49.327198,-115.291601. East 2WD road.

Stayed here three nights, easy, quiet and free - what's not to love! Lots of quiet animal calls out amongst the trees and on the lake at night.
Don't follow Google maps route to it (takes you on the direct but roughest road in) instead head for Jaffaray Barnes Lake Road and the turn off for an easier road to the lake is marked on google maps, 'Turn off for Suzanne Lake Rec Site'.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Free camping, next to the lake. Picknick tables fire rings and 2 pit toilets. It was very busy when we got here, managed to squeeze in a spot. The lake was very nice to swim in.
Drive in from jaffray Baynes Lake road, not the other side. We have a class c motorhome and that road was easy to do. The other side not so much.

Report Check-In

I don’t recommend driving to this camp with a van. It’s a 7 km long gravel road with lots of deep potholes and rocks. We had to turn around, no fun at all.

Report Check-In

9 or 10 sites. Fire rings. Picnic tables. 2 pit toilets, clean enough. People, including locals, fishing - so, perhaps, fish.

A very good place to relax.

Another opinion - my partner would like a better view of the lake.

CBC at 101.3.
