7 or so spots available for overnight camping. Need to leave by 8a. Coffee shop open at 730a about a block from spot. Tapas/cocktail bar right next door open until 10p. Street lamps on all night. Slight slope to spots. Slip in from one way alley off central street. Missed it the first time looking for it. Search for Au Comptoir and it’s right next to it behind Welcome Center by fence.

Packed during the day but we parked here in the evening on our Class B RV and it was completely empty. Definitely tight and the spot for larger RV’s is really sloped. Overall felt safe, just have to move before 8:00am since it is city parking.

Great spot - lovely wee bar next to it. Signs read ‘overnight parking allowed between signs’.

There are bathrooms in the welcome center which are open until around 10pm with potable water.

Spots next to the river don’t have a pull away time - but the ones closer to the street do say you need to move before 8am. Local chap doing landscaping for the town told me that there aren’t parking attendants until 10 though.

There are also spots next to the park a few hundred meters away

Stayed one night and were the only vehicle in the lot. It was indeed peaceful and quiet like some have mentioned. Would imagine it just depends on the night of the week you stay.

There are 8 spots between the signs, and as other have mentioned, if you have anything larger than a 20ft camper van, it’s gonna be tight especially if there are other vehicles. But otherwise, a lovely spot for a night!

Great place for a night but if you have anything bigger than a small van it wont fit. The river next to us was quite nice!

Small lot next to the town welcome center that says overnight parking is allowed. It is a very small lot but our van (which fits into a regular sized parking space) fit just fine. It is a busier lot on the weekend since folks use it when visiting the downtown shops and restaurants, but thankfully we scored a spot here on a Saturday night around 5pm. No other folks were overnighting in their car when we were there. All in all a nice place to crash, if you’re able to get and fit into a spot.

This lot is very tight. I have a 20’ Sprinter and it was a little uncomfortable when the lot is full. The parallel spots work better for bigger vans but they are indeed unlevel.
It was really packed during the day but cleared out by evening.
And, it’s free and this town is so so lovely.

Welcome center parking lot. 5+ overnight spots. Posted. Have to move/leave by 8 am. Welcome center with bathroom opens at 9. There are hourly pay by phone or kiosk spots right next to overnight, so you can move, pay a few hours and enjoy your time. Very quiet for downtown. No noise at all. Little walking bridge and river next to spots. Camping with showers in area. Good luck!

Lots of parking spots in the lot behind the welcome center. Walking distance to all of downtown and gorgeous Faulkner Park.

Free to overnight. Says you need to be out by 8am, but also it's free public parking on the weekend so don't think that rule applies on saturday and sunday.

Super quiet and safe in an adorable neighborhood.

Behind the Town of Woodstock Welcome Center. Eight regular, pull-in spaces are marked for overnight. Also 2 parallel spaces along the brook (more unlevel). Spent a nice quiet Friday night.

Nice little hidden parking lot that allows overnight parking. Must move by 8am. Very peaceful except trash pickup is loud and comes at 6 and 630am on Thursday mornings.

Great overnight in Woodstock. Very quiet all night, just a few folks walking their dogs in the evening. Parking spots are a little unlevel but nothing major. There are some regular parking spots and some parallel spots that might be good for a small RV, but a big RV probably couldn’t fit here. Decent cell reception. One other can the night we were here. Signs seem to indicate that you need to move your rig by 8 am except for Saturdays and Sundays. Very convenient to downtown Woodstock. Felt very safe.
