Something not right?

Description

Area was recommended by NFS and NPS rangers. Lots of spots in vicinity. Decent roads all the way in. Could fit big rig. This site is a pull through. Dry camping.

Latest Check-Ins

Nice site close to the NPs. Got my 27' TT in without issue. Plenty of Verizon service.

My only gripe is this site has more garbage then anywhere we've boondocked in the last 3 months. I picked up 4 big piles of trash already, water bottles, cans, wrappers, even 3 D batteries under a bush. I'll get as much as I can before we go, but do better people. if everyone just picked up a few pieces of trash they saw, the world would be a much cleaner place!

Gate to area is currently closed and locked.

Attempted to spend the night at this spot just outside of Sequoia NP. All of the campsites along were closed with locked gates. I suspect that they close the areas off after October 1st.

Just as others described, several pull outs for tents/camper vans and then at the end of the dirt road, a larger turn around area. Was able to get level in a shady area with my 23ft travel trailer. Great service on Verizon, zero bars on AT&T.

Staying here tonight. Not busy and 35 mins to Lodgepole Visitor Center. Only one other person nearby. Peaceful and amongst beautiful pine? Trees. Fire pits also in a lot of spots. No need for 4WD - easily accessible by car.
We also have Service with Mint which is a bonus! Not the fastest internet but enough for us to browse and plan next few days.

Spacious and great location. Cows often walked through our campsite. Video review here at our channel (Abe and Mel Van Travels): https://youtu.be/KfotAG2_WeY
