Spent two nights on the street right before East End Beach, there were couple of other vans on this street. During the day you can park on Cutter St which has beautiful views.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
No problem here. Quiet during night. Nice view. Keeping a low profile is important, because you are on a residential street.
Report Check-Inso.this would be my 3rd night parking here . I got woke up by the police at my door. apparently you can not park here. they wouldn't have anything but the neighbors complained apparently.
Report Check-InYes, but no !
You can sleep, on the street, next to the Park, but it’s very noisy because cars run fast next to you… neighbours watch you at night with suspicious, a lot of Karen live here…
If you have no choice it’s ok, but not a peaceful place
Great spot in the city with a nice sunrise over the water. Pretty quiet, saw two others, but tons of space. Good cell service on all 3.
Report Check-InAs described, still valid. There is only pit toilets at the moment (off season) down by the beach or further on the street next to the tennis court.
Report Check-InIt was a nice spot to park, but we came back from a day exploring in the town to this parking notice placed on our windshield stating RVs are not allowed to park for over 24 hours here.
Report Check-InWe parallel parked on the street, along with a few other vans. There is only enough room for a handful of vans. The park is nice and the beach has bathrooms open during the day and an outdoor shower. Safe, quiet after dark, and pet friendly. We would defiantly stay here again.
Report Check-InBeautiful, safe, but only enough space for 6 vans. We stayed here for 4 nights and the road noise is minimal at night. Beautiful park and perfect if you have kids or a doggo.
Report Check-InBeautiful place to park. I had no issues staying overnight, and I saw some other vans parked around. There is a walking trail and portapotties right on the water.
Report Check-InI parallel parked on E Promenade right before Cutter St. Had great 180 view out the side door. 3 bars Verizon. Other vans/campers nearby. Great spot.
Report Check-Instayed here a few nights, handful of other vans too. totally unbothered, minimal traffic, beautiful views.
Report Check-InWe parked right at the corner, right where you get the first sweeping views of the water. Stayed 4 nights but moved during the day. Other vans and skoolies also parked.
The place is great, beside a huge park with off leash for dogs, walking and biking trail, food trucks and kayak rentals.
Report Check-InAwesome spot! We did parallel street parking. 180 degree view of the water. Saw other camper vans staying overnight as well. No one bothered us. No amenities.
Report Check-InCrowded for sunset gawkers when we arrived into town. Parked downtown and grabbed a bite and then returned later. Found a spot on south side of E Promenade between Moody and Wilson. No problems at all. There is a bit of street noise, especially in the morning. Great park to hang out in all the way down to the water, as well as the beach. Walked down to check out boat launch area at night and caught an amazing moon rise over the harbor. Food trucks often parked just north of here. It appears that Tue and Thurs nights may have sweepers come through based on signage.
Report Check-InI parked overnight off Moody and Morning intersection.
Happen to roll through on July fourth so there was very limited parking, but I arrived long before the fireworks viewers were all here.
Chatted with cops to verify, as long as you don’t see signage, overnight parking is fine.
Port-a-potties we’re stocked up! But I’m not sure if they have that many without the firework show…
Dog friendly- on leash.
Recommended walking down to the ramp/dock area. I had my pup off leash to walk through the rocky coastline.
