Lovely lake views but currently there’s an algae problem so everyone is keeping away from the water. $20 night or $15 for Nevada plates. Beautiful place shame about the algae. Will collect some trash before I leave. Dump and non potable water available.
Report Check-InCheck the GPS coordinates for this place - We just blindly followed Google Maps Directions without realizing the coordinates put the location pin right in the middle of the lake. Coming from the west, google directed us to the west side of the lake where there is no access. Reported this error on 5/24/2023, so depending on when you read this, it may be fixed. The campground is actually just east of the lake on the north side.
Report Check-InJust west of the State Rec area: a paved car park, boat ramp and dock at what used to be the water's edge, but the reservoir is very low. A few trees for shade, salt bush and open, sandy shoreline. Lovely sunset and sunrise with birds coming and going. Pit toilets and water for boiling before use. Pick up other peoples trash and leave it more beautiful than you found it. $5 use fee but no one was there
