It was extremely hard to find a parking lot that would take us in . This place is huge, well lit, you can go to the movies :) eat dinner and park for free! Internet? Starbucks? Bathrooms ? At the mall !
EDIT: Free showers at the Pemex across the road.

Free, large parking lot, spent a night here without any problems. The noise of the big street next door can be heard subliminally all night. Clean toilet facilities. No open WiFi found.

Report Check-InPerfect spot to camp . Safe and quiet at night. We really enjoyed having Starbucks there so we could use their WiFi and also get out of the heat. Walmart has public bathrooms.

Whole night police stand by in the lot- we had the opportunity to met with the city drag race kings (loud af) but still at midnight everybody went home
Safe and somewhat quiet for a night or two. We were not disturbed!

Report Check-InStay here one night and everything was ok Walmart restaurant and autozone all in the same place we were really happy we found this parking lot.
Report Check-InWe camped here for two nights without any problems. You can use the toilets at Walmart till 11 pm and the shower at the petrol station on the other site of the street.
It’s a very huge parking lot for a a lot of shops. We didn’t ask anybody if it’s ok. Nobody was taking notes of us.
The police drives around the area.
If you park near a restaurant or Walmart you can get wifi.
Report Check-InSpent one night and all was good, security guys very friendly, great WiFi in Starbucks
Report Check-InWe spent 3 nights (on and off) there and everything was fine except Thursday night which was the Chevrolet Spark tuning meet up night which was ridiculous and loud until 2am when security guys asked them to keep it quiet.

Report Check-InPolice is driving around in an armored car with a guy sitting at the turret, so I say this is definitely the safest place around!
Report Check-InThe normal... noisy but convenient with facilities. The farmacia is 24hrs. Uber into town for Día de Muertos was approx 120 pesos (each way).
Report Check-Ingood pace for a night, quiet at nigth. We came here to meet a batery sellers from partec Green Motion, [email protected] , they are also in facebook. Here I found a huge variety of them, plus they ship it anywhere in the country for very little. From merida to Tuxla I only paid 290 pesos. 100W Gel Deep Cycle batery 230 USD
I met a Partec Green Motion representative in this coordinates aftyer dropping him an email.
Slept here for a night with no issues, was a bit loud but what do you expect for busy shopping center. It served it's purpose!
Report Check-InGreat spot but there is something everyone seems to have missed! There are free showers at the Pemex across the road!!! Just ask any of the workers to open the "regadera" and you are set.

Report Check-InVery good, quiet at night and safe. Mérida is very hot but refresh around 11 p.m. There is bathron in Wal Mart until 11 p.m. There is a market with some thing for car.
