Description

I haven’t camped but people sleep here all the time. Lots of long term people but super friendly. I live nearby- kids play airsoft on Fridays but won't bother you. Right by the water. Best sunsets in the bay! Cops don’t kick you out either

Beautiful view of the city, war ship museum next door, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, a little beach, everything next to a sailing school. Stayed there for one night with my van and felt super secure. Wasn’t sure at first because the signs said no parking between 10pm - 6am but like all the other comments said, no police came to kick us out. Someone live here permanantly and is super nice. Would totalyyyyy recommend!!

Report Check-In

All the previous comments people posted about this locations are correct. We stopped in at the paddling clubs and talked to a few people and they told us the City does not close the front gates and that they do not kick out overnight campers. We stayed the night on a Saturday after the crowds left aft 5pm and it was very quiet and a great view of the sunset from the jetty. It was a great location. Recommended.

there are several signs saying “no parking from 10pm-6am”

Report Check-In

Drove in around 8:30pm on a Tuesday. Signs driving in say No Parking 10pm to 6am and that gates close 2 hours after sunset. Went to the bathrooms and there were a few vehicles parked off to the side anyway, but didn’t want to risk it or get locked in. Plenty of quiet street parking nearby in front of apartments and condos!
Pretty spot though!

Report Check-In

Stayed two nights here. Lot filled up Saturday morning with people accessing the water, but this site was very quiet at night for such an urban area. Filled up on water, also had flush toilets. Boat trailer spots are big enough for a Class A, just don’t plan on there being space on the weekend.

Overall, very nice place to hang out by the water, would recommend.
