Pull into the rest stop and then exit out to the small trail head with half a dozen parking spaces. 3 Verizon bars, level, decently quiet and away from the Highway.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Place is as described although there are no large parking spots near the trailhead. Although there is a "no camping" sign at the restarea, we decided that it was the best option.
Report Check-InThe location is as described however there is no area near the trailhead to park a "big rig". The spaces at the trailhead are only slightly over standard parking spot length. We decided to roll the dice and sleep at the restarea even though there is a no camping sign.
Report Check-InThe water spigot handle has been removed. Looks to have been a while ago 😢
Report Check-InFlat parking area at trailhead. Slight noise from the highway, but nothing bothersome. Vehicles pass right by trailhead parking when they’re leaving the rest area & the semi’s can be pretty loud. Clean restrooms.
Report Check-InGood spot. Clean restrooms. Significant semi truck idling noise at restroom parking lot. Parking lot at the trailhead is quieter but there is no getting away from the very bright street light. Make sure your rig has blackout curtains or similar.
Report Check-InGreat and Safe rest area. right off the highway but far enough you can't hear the road. lots of space to walk dog. VERY clean bathrooms
Report Check-InDidn’t see any “no overnight sleeping” signs. There’s also a hiking trail near the parking area. Seems like a good place to rest when passing thru
Report Check-Ingreat nights sleep. clean toilets, very little noise, level ground, nice little trail. would recommend. the only thing i noticed was at the rest stop a "no camping" sign but nothing at this parking spot
Report Check-InGreat spot! Surprisingly quiet for a rest stop. I did park in the trailhead area and heard very few cars. You can’t even hear the highway.
Report Check-InQuite and nice rest stop. There is a separate parking by the trailhead where we stayed all by ourselves. The facilities are clean and heated. Montana has some superb rest stops!
Report Check-InStayed at the rest stop, not sure where the other spaces are. This place is pristine inside! Definitely the cleanest bathrooms I’ve been to at any rest stop. Unfortunately the trail had dog poop all over it so to owners not picking up after their dogs but other than this it was a great place to sleep. Something to keep in mind is that the trucks park right behind the cars in the next row so it was pretty loud all night.
Report Check-InWell-lit, well-used, popular spot. Good services/hygiene facilities. Trucks aplenty so not quiet but it’s a rest area.
