Description

Stay here one night after hiking Moonshine Arch. No sign. Quiet. Few cars stopping for the hike but nobody bothered me. There is a wash at the beginning of the dirt road but I passed it with my 25 feet Motorhome without problem

We camped here on a Monday night and were all alone! Super quiet!!! 2 mile RT hike to this awesome arch!!!! About 7-8 miles off Hwy 40 on 191 Hwy — paved until last 1 mile. Dirt road to trailhead is nice and smooth for the most part. We pulled a 16 foot trailer with a truck and truck camper and it was easy! Could be bad if muddy/rainy. Turn at blue sign for Moonshine Arch off Hwy 191 maybe 1/4 mile past mile marker 359. Sooooo beautiful! The arch was phenomenal!!!

Nice, quiet place on a Friday night. Road to get back was a little bumpy. Two cars in the lot when we pulled in and another car pulled in late at night. No traffic noise.

Came in around 4pm to hike to the arch and spend an overnight at the trailhead parking lot. Met a couple of others along the trail. We were the only ones left in the parking lot when we returned. Very peaceful and great for an overnight if you’re wanting to be relatively close to town.

Very quiet spot, perfect overnighter. As mentioned, this is a small car park on a trailhead
