Stayed for a very peaceful n scenic three nights w Ben to finish off our island adventure, Tahsis is a gem of a village and the camp was a nice spot to come n go from, especially given the rope swing
Report Check-InWe stayed here last year and loved it! So we had to come back this summer and it’s still amazing! Outhouse and garbage bins available. No cell service but Tahsis is only 5 minutes away. It’s a great free spot with a beautiful river to cool off.
Report Check-Instopped in to see what it was all about! there were probably 6 sites all side by side (with trees for privacy), adjacent to the river. a little path is cleared to get you to the water no problem. really beautiful! only two sites were occupied on a Sunday on July. there's an amazing Boulder and waterfall hike juat east of the campground on the north side. toilets and garbage bins are available.
Report Check-InFriday night long weekend - all spots full so we parked at trailhead near toilets. We had no cell reception.
Report Check-InBeautiful and quiet spot. There were only two spots occupied mid-week in early summer. Bathrooms were dated but useable. Nice private and level campsites with fire ring and tables. Crystal clear water is available at the nearby river. Lots of firewood available if you have an axe or a saw, and you'll need a fire to chase off all the mosquitoes.
