This overflow parking area in the Geneva State Park is a great spot for any size RV. We lucked out mid week and had the whole place to ourselves. We were surprised to find no 'no overnight' parking signs anywhere. A lakeside paved bike trail is all that is between you and the shoreline of Lake Erie. Public Beach right next door. Five minute walk to toilets. A real gem!

Overflow parking is still blocked off and I was told if I stayed in the main lot I’d get kicked out. Drove to Flying J and parked away from the trucks and it’s very chill.
Report Check-InStill blocked off with caution tape as of today. Such a waste of a perfectly good/peaceful looking parking lot sleep spot!
Washed dishes/filled up water/used restrooms at the beach parking lot right next to this one (closed at dusk).
Luckily there’s a pilot and flying j only 20 minutes away in Austinburg (already on the iOverlander map).
Report Check-InGreat spot, stayed last night but this morning was asked to leave by city workers closing the site for some construction work.
Report Check-InNo overnight parking allowed here or in any Ohio State Parks. A ranger came by and told everyone to leave around 9pm.
Report Check-InExcellent spot. Large, flat, paved circular lot for easy in and out. No signs prohibiting overnight parking. We had a fellow vanlifer converted ambulance share the lot with us, otherwise empty after dark. Great Verizon signal. Walk/bike trail right next to you. Good place to walk your dog because no dogs or alcohol allowed on the beach. Bathrooms a short walk away. Saw outdoor beach showers to rinse off but it was too cold to try. Mama and baby deer in the lot when we woke up.
