Description

Past the camground that is on this road (which is ehhh) There are forest service camps that are stunning. the one this marker is at has a river behind it and a white capped mountain front and center. There are also moose just grazing.. everywhere. Many spots on the road. Locals have it packed on labor day. long drive out. but so so worth it.
Even a random forest service pit toilet off the road. So happy we made it here with the slim choices in the area. Locals said it's a secret.

Lots of big rigs are back here. bumpy road though. Was honestly surprised they got up here with the bumpy road but about 50 pull behinds were at the campgrounds.

If you have 4x4 you can get up and close to lakes farther up the road

Latest Check-Ins

We drove almost to the end where campers can go. Bumpy drive, lots of rocks, other than that ok for our Promaster, front wheel drive. Found a spot on the side of the road by the creek. Worth the drive, there are two lakes a short hike away.

Amazing definitely muddy it rained all night I was there but was able to tuck into the trees. Beautiful creek running behind site

Nice, large spot at the end of the "nice" gravel road (it keeps going but you need a proper off-road rig). Space for multiple vehicles. When I stayed here there were cows grazing nearby but we didn't bother each other.
