Description

5-6 dispersed camping sites with fire rings. Each spot is pretty much private. When you first turn down the road, there’s an area that looks like it used to be a place to camp but there are signs up saying 'no camping'. Drive past that and you’ll see a couple of big sites on each side of the road and 2-3 smaller sites shortly after. Tons of off-road vehicles fly by during the day but most are done by sunset. Short 15 minute drive to Bryce Canyon NP. AT&T service is decent, 2 bars LTE. T-mobile cellular works great.

Off of forest road 088. Please take your garbage with you! Pack it in, pack it out.

Great spots everywhere, you just need a while to find them, because there are a lot of „no camping“ signs, but also some signs that allow camping and some without a sign, wide and with fire places so we stayed there, wonderful! Quite crowded, that’s why you need a while to find a free spot, but it’s worth it! In the middle of the forest, very quiet. Near Bryce Canyon!

Head south off HWY 12 on East Fork Road and left into Dave’s Hollow. Approx 2 miles. There is a sign for Dave’s Hollow that is visible. There are multiple sites to choose from. This is a wooded site, loop with fire pit and can fit a large RV or trailer. Can access with 2WD. Great location just a few miles west of Bryce Canyon city and the park.

This whole site is taken by the fire department: they use it as an incident base for the 700+ people fighting the Left Fork fire. FR087 is closed at the lake. The fire is expected to be contained in August 2022.

Good wifi using t mobile, dusty but a nice place to stay for multiple nights

I'm not sure if anyone else had this problem but I got a bunch of rodents climbing into my van when I stayed here. I couldn't sleep at all here and they unfortunately followed me for the next day or two. Fortunately some bounce dryer sheets were enough to get them out but it was a couple days of hell after staying in this campsite.

Very good AT&T. Very poor Verizon.
Some good shade from trees. Quite nice.
There is a No Overnight Camping sign earlier on the road. But not in this area. So probably ok?

Great location if you pass the area that states no camping there are plenty of good spots for dispersed camping

Perfect! As others described. ⚠️ Taking the forest road 88 to 63 we came up against a locked gate by NPS. Climbed the fence to find a guy who advised that route is always blocked as you have to enter the park through the gates and pay your fee. The area was infrastructure for the Bryce Canyon Lodge.

Nice area on narrow forest service road. Seems to be a few spots around this area. Spots closer to Bryce Canyon had no camping signs. Good Verizon LTE

Report Check-In

Great spot on the forest 088 road. Remember to take all your trash please! We saw several pieces debris. We picked it up. Help keep the forest clean and free camping available.

Report Check-In

Quiet peaceful convenient. Main fire Road is rough but just take it slow. We are in a Sprinter 170 2wheel drive. Heavy rains and road handled it ok.
